St. Barnabas Yoga: Embodied Prayer
We are excited to launch a weekly space for the practice of yoga in the New Year!
When & Where:
• Day: Every Tuesday
• Time: 11:00 a.m.
• Start Date: January 13th
• Location: Parish Hall
What to Bring: Please bring your own mat.
About The Yoga Practice:
This practice is an intentional time to connect, to heal, and to find peace and freedom in body and mind. The core intention is to actively work out our prayers in our bodies—releasing tension, anxiety, pain, and grief while finding rest, joy, peace, hope, and love through embodied prayer.
Who It's For:
• Newcomers: The practice is gentle, inclusive, and a wonderful foundation for those new to yoga.
• Veterans: We especially welcome veterans, offering an invitation to go where you need to go within a supportive and gentle practice.
• Everyone: We hope you will find this a welcoming space for community, wellness, and spiritual practice.
Instructors: Hosted and instructed by Michelle Papan, Alison Pounds, and Laurie Avery-Cohen.
